I bought this and returned it. It is a waste of money. It has no power to grind small ice. The charge does not last that long. I bought it to mix smoothies. I ended up purchasing a corded one.

black and decker blender parts Assistive Guide
I use this a lot & am glad to have it. The included ‘mini-processor’ is great for small quantity preps.
My one pet peeve, however, is the dual-button configuration!
IMHO, this is totally unnecessary. Apparently meant to be a child safety thing, it’s a pain to deal with. I wanted *cordless*, so it becomes a trade-off. There is at least one application where a better choice would be something with a *flat* blender foot with a low-slung blade (as opposed to the scalloped foot with the blade raised higher-as in this unit). Bamix (corded) makes a few. [...] I prefer to do some of my mixing/blending in a Pyrex mixing bowl instead of the included blender jug, though.
I am so pleased with this blender and Bosch. Because it is cordless, I can take it to the stove to puree/blend soups and sauces. The chopper accessory perfect for small quantities of herbs, garlic, ginger root, etc. and so far (1 month) battery has lasted through all jobs. But the best part - I am with the US Army in Germany (power is 220 volt)but I will return the US (power is 110 volt) in 2 years. The exact same mixer (but with 220 V charging station) is available here, but I wouldn’t be able to use it in the US. I discovered that, in Germany, Bosch sells the charging station separately (very inexpensively). So I bought the US mixer and the 220 volt charger station to use while in Germany. Now I can use it anywhere!!
As of date, I have had no real issues with this mixer. The test will come with time. The only fault I have found is with the processor attachment. The “post” that the blade sits on is not secure and food, mostly liquid, can get in there and it is not super easy to clean out. The bowl lid, also, is not sealed well and allows liquid from food or washing to enter it and it sometimes comes out the next time you use it.

package arrived, torn and ruined…official seal broken on each flap end, opened broken box, item was used, dirty, fingerprints, just decided to try to charge it, waited hours, charge would not take. product was totally defective and used and shoved in the box without any styrofoam or packaging….i returned today, just as they sent it to me, cost 14.65 to return.
