Author: I have had this stick Immersion Hand Blender with Chopper for over a year, and used it about a hundred times. There are two problems which have been significant for me, but might not matter for you: (a) Washing the top of the chopper in the dishwasher causes it to fill with dirty water which leaks out slowly, but you can’t fully empty it; (b) You can’t chop small quantities, the minimum has to fill the chopper enough to cause full churn of the ingredients. In other words, a lot of pesto is ok, but not a little.
