waring classic blender Free Interesting Guide
I was disappointed when this mostly plastic appliance arrived. I was trying to replace a Kitchen Aid blender, that leaks all over the place.
There was something loose rolling around inside the base, so I decided that was an ominous sign of future problems, so I sent it back.
I don’t understand why there are so many different models of this blender. My advice is to buy the original Waring, not the “PRO”, or Classic. In my mind the “Classic” was never “plastic”.

kitchenaid blender ksb580nk Directory
I just bought this blender based on being chosen #1 by Cook’s Illustrated Magazine, a publication I formerly held in high regard for their integrity & content. Like Consumer Reports, they do not accept advertising in their magazine so the assumption is that their advice is not slanted because they “have no horse in the race”.
I found out this is not the case.
Apparently they have a symbiotic relationship with Kitchen Aid. With my new blender came a postcard with a subscription offering for Cook’s Illustrated. My problem is that after doing some online research I found out that this blender is functionally the same as the much less expensive Kitchen Aid model KSB 560. The only difference is the coating on the base. The motor, container & controls are identical.[...]
When I inquired @ Cook’s Illustrated about why they hadn’t informed their readers about the better value of the KSB 560, their reply was “we haven’t reviewed this model”. I find that a very weak answer! I guess it’s like they say “it’s all about the Benjamins”
I feel ripped off!!!

Discuss Hot krups kb720 blender Topics Here
I love love love this blender. I have had mine almost a month and have made a smoothie every day. The trick is to use the blender correctly. I put a lot of frozen fruit in my smoothies as I am making for more than one person. At least two pounds, as well as frozen yogurt, protein powder, and milk. The trick is to TURN THE MACHINE TO ICE CRUSH AND WALK AWAY. Be patient. It takes 3 or 4 minutes of the pulsating to break down all of the fruit. After that is done, I turn it on speed one for about a minute and then speed two for about 30 seconds. Unlike other blenders where higher is better, the lower speed on this blender is where you get the vortex action that pulls down any non-pulverized fruit into the blades. I am not sure how the bottom is falling off for people. It is a bayonet style blade assembly. One simple twist locks it in place. Problems would arise if you twist the jar after it is on the motor, like when you take it off. Then I could see where the bottom would come off. But, pulling straight up that should never happen. I also read about the blenders turning off. I do think this in an automatic heat sensor. Mine did this the first couple of times I used it when I was just going straight to speed 4. After reading the limited manuel I discovered the need to use the ice crush feature. The automatic turnoff never happened again. I returned two Kitchen Aid smoothie blenders in the month before getting this one and I am very happy with it. It is much quieter than other blenders I have tried.

Intelligent Advice On waring commercial blenders
I bought this to replace a Kitchen Aid.
The Kitchen Aid uses a coupler on top of the motor which spins the blade that’s made out of rubber over metal which will break if you make lots of frozen fruit drinks. That’s what I had happen.
The Waring uses the same type of design, but the difference is that you can buy a replacement ($5.95) and put it on yourself with a wrench If it were to ever come apart. The Kitchen Aid has to be serviced, take apart the motor to get to it from the inside etc.
This Waring Blender is very powerful! It’s loud and spins very fast. It blends in a fraction of the time of others. It makes my old Kitchen-Aid seem like a childs toy in comparison.
Note: You don’t load the thing up with frozen fruit or else it may just jam and won’t spin. Also you’re supposed to drop the ice in from the top while it’s running.
It’s much more obviously commercial through heft, simplicity of design and function and servicability.
It has only 2 speeds. Professional chefs say that’s all you need. it has a simple toggle switch, no multiple speed electronic gimmics. Just very functional.
I originally really wanted a glass container. It provided some heft to my old Kitchen-Aid and I thought that it was a sign of higher quality.
For a commercial application you would prefer the unbreakable quality of the polycarbon plastic as well as the lack of weight. It’s light as a feather.
One of the first things I noticed was that the container doesn’t lock to the base. I was originally concerned, but in a commercial setting you’d just keep your hand on it since it’s not going to take long to blend, and then you just quickly pull it off and pour.
I was also concerned that the blade being permenantly mounted inside the container would be hard to clean. (actually you can take it apart with a deep socket and extension, not for cleaning but blade replacement). My Kitchen Aids came apart for cleaning and I could put it in the dishwasher. I find the cleaning instruction are easy with the Waring, actually simple to clean you should just do it right away once your done mixing. Less time to clean and assemble.
What I see now with comparing this to the kitchen-Aid besides what I’ve already mentioned, is that the Kitchen-Aid looks simple through it’s visual design. It’s over designed through what appear to be valuable features which only make it more complicated. You have to do more work from cleaning, assembling and servicing.
The Waring on the other hand is bare bones functional. It was designed to blend and be easily serviced and quickly cleaned.

This blender is fantastic. It is very powerful and has accomplished every task we have assigned to it, effortlessly. We purchased the white one marked down so the value was unbelievable, at least $25 less that we could find it anywhere else. cuisinart smart power premier blender Free Assistive Info
I bought a Cuisinart because I expected it to live up to its name. I don’t ask much of it. Every morning I mix 16 oz. yogurt, a few liquid vitamins, etc., and a cup of frozen Maine (very small) blueberries for breakfast. I don’t crush ice at all. From the start, this machine screamed at me. The bottom third of the potion grudingly begins to move a little after a few seconds of idle grinding and I have to keep taking the top off and stirring by hand to mix in the rest. I have to switch around from low to high and pulse to get this moving at all. It takes forever to get something the consistency of home-made ice cream. When I pour, the brew plops everywhere but in the glass. Now the motor seems to be burning out - rubber and electric smell. I have a Kitchen RRKSB5 at my summer place that works perfectly. I start at low and switch to pulp and I have a liquid drink in just a couple of minutes. I can pour easily out of the glass pitcher. Quiet, easy, fast. I recommend the Kitchen Aid. Shame on Cuisinart!

Compare waring professional food & beverage blender Products
My wife and I received a Waring Blender (60th Anniversary edition) from our wedding registry at Williams Sonoma. During the second time we ever used it, the blade shaft snapped in two while trying to crush ice. We immediately returned it to Williams Sonoma, and the store manager told us that they get 4-5 Waring blenders returned every week!! This obviously is not the same company anymore, so please pay attention to the other negative reviews, which seem to be indicative of our experience.
P.S. - We traded ours in for a Kitchen Aid, which works 100 times better than the Waring.

oster 16 speed blender Guide
Oster 6812-001 Core 16-Speed Blender with Glass Jar, Black
My husband is a runner and makes a protein shake every morning. So when I dropped blender last night while cleaning it I knew I had to have a replacement quick!:-) I read reviews last night and decided to hit the stores to “feel” some of the competitors. Fully intending to buy a Kitchen Aid blender, I finally decided on this one because of price and its features. We wanted a glass jar and something that wasn’t too ugly since it sits out on the counter. The metal gear is so easy to use. NO wiggling the jar to get it to “sit right”.
After bringing this home and testing it with the ice I am in love. I didn’t expect much and was fully ready to return to the store if I wasn’t happy. Just as the other reviews say this thing really crushes the ice QUICKLY and so evenly. It looked like a snow cone in there. I then quickly made myself a frappuccino and sat down to write this review. LOL
I highly recommend this blender. Great quality for the money.
