I am so pleased with this blender and Bosch. Because it is cordless, I can take it to the stove to puree/blend soups and sauces. The chopper accessory perfect for small quantities of herbs, garlic, ginger root, etc. and so far (1 month) battery has lasted through all jobs. But the best part - I am with the US Army in Germany (power is 220 volt)but I will return the US (power is 110 volt) in 2 years. The exact same mixer (but with 220 V charging station) is available here, but I wouldn’t be able to use it in the US. I discovered that, in Germany, Bosch sells the charging station separately (very inexpensively). So I bought the US mixer and the 220 volt charger station to use while in Germany. Now I can use it anywhere!!

BRAUN HAND BLENDER/CHOPPER

After owning a few cheaper units, I sprang for the Braun Hand Blender/Chopper and am very pleased with my choice. While I have mainly used mine for its easy blending-in-the-pot capabilities, I admit the chopper has equal merits, especially when you only need to chop a small quantity of ingredients.

I love being able to immerse the blade right in my soup pot to blend or puree soups and sauces without the mess of getting out my food processor or countertop blender. The blade does a quick job of pureeing and wash-up is a dream. I can’t imagine cooking without this handy device.

Highly recommended.

I bought this blender after returning 2 others at a major retailer. I like the sturdiness of this product and that it doesn’t have a lot of gizmos. I need it to make smoothies, puree soups and sauces and make baby food. It does all of these in a snap and is an easy clean up. I would buy it again.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. This is the most reliable, consistant, and efficient blender I have ever owned. Maybe it is the blending technique people are using? (Liquids always go first, solids next, ice LAST.) We use ours for smoothies, margaritas, pina coladas, ice cream shakes, and even sauces. It is fantastic, and produces the best frozen drinks ever in just 40 seconds.

I would absolutely buy another… but at this rate, I can’t see needing to. It works as well as it did from day one.

We’ve owned it for a year, and we use it about once a week, sometimes 2-3 times a week (we’ve gotten into smoothies lately).

I have owned this blender for over a year and I continue to say: PHENOMENAL. In fact, it’s what compelled me to write this review. I continue to be amazed by this product’s performance and wanted to tell others. I was STUNNED to see negative reviews. I agree with another reviewer, maybe people got a bad batch or something, or they don’t know how to blend properly.

As far as I’m concerned, this is the BAR QUALITY blender that I was looking for (and I recall checking a LOT of reviews back when I bought it), and after one year I can absolutely confirm that it delivered on that promise.
